HOUSE BILL NO. 56 "An Act exempting controlled substances                                                                       
prescribed or dispensed by a veterinarian to treat an animal from the                                                           
requirements of the controlled substance prescription database" was                                                             
read the second time.                                                                                                           
                                                                                                                                
Senator Bjorkman, Chair, moved and asked unanimous consent for the                                                              
adoption of the Labor and Commerce Senate Committee Substitute                                                                  
offered on page 789. Without objection SENATE CS FOR HOUSE                                                                      
BILL NO. 56(L&C) "An Act relating to the certification of                                                                       
veterinarians; exempting veterinarians from the requirements of the                                                             
controlled substance prescription database; and providing for an                                                                
effective date" was adopted.
